In celebration of the 38th Philippine Coconut Week, Cong. Wilbert Manoy “Wise” T. Lee emphasized the importance of fast-tracking the release of the coco levy funds and providing health and medical benefits to the country’s coconut farmers. Lee highlighted that the government’s goal of becoming the world’s top coconut exporter can only be achieved by protecting and supporting the livelihoods of these farmers.

“Sa laki ng ambag ng industriyang ito, dapat ibigay agad ang pondo at serbisyo para sa mga magniniyog,” Lee stressed, urging immediate government action.
