As President Bongbong Marcos pushes for the Philippines to become the number one coconut exporter globally, Cong. Wilbert Manoy “Wise” T. Lee stressed that ensuring the welfare of coconut farmers is key to reaching this goal. Lee, who has long advocated for the release of the coco levy funds for the benefit of coconut farmers, called for urgent action to address their health, livelihood, and support needs.

“Kung gusto natin maging top exporter, dapat din nating bigyang pansin ang kalusugan at kabuhayan ng ating mga magniniyog,” Lee emphasized, citing the delayed distribution of necessary funds.
